Main problem basically by F: How do I get Microsoft Word to recognize my printer?

It always says “No Printers Installed”. Every other program can use my printer (including WordPad, but I still really prefer Word). This used to be fixed by restarting word, but that’s not working anymore. My printer is set to the default printer, and the drivers are all good… I’ve tried the Microsoft Fix It program, but it couldn’t detect any errors. When I click “add printer”, it comes up with an error saying “The Active Directory Domain Services is currently unavailable”.

Looks like a driver issue to me. Install printer driver again and see what happens. Or you can try this

>Go to Control Panel

> Select Printers

> Right-click on Add Printer

> Select Run as Administrator

Now try to add your printer.

It seems, my friend, that you will need to uninstall your copy of Microsoft Word and then reinstall it. The following article from the Microsoft website is talking about Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Student with Windows 7, but I’ve a very strong suspicion that this would also be the case with other versions of Windows and Microsoft Office.
