I have an online portfolio of my web, logo, and document design. There are links for each item, but due to limited space, the links to the different sections read: “WEB | LOGO | PRINT”. What does “Print” mean to you? Would you recognize it as being document design, or would you think it will print out the page? Is there a better alternative (must be short)? I was also considering “printed” and “layout”, and although those are harder to confuse, neither of those is technically as accurate.

It could be confusing, but in the context of a navigation bar, I think people will figure it out. Most sites that offer a print button—and a corresponding print style sheet—usually put a little printer icon next to it to avoid confusion. If there is a way to make “WEB | LOGO | PRINT” sub menu items under a main menu of “My Designs,” or something like that it might be more clear.

Something that is written in the physical sense. You print something from the computer it is actually printed out on real paper.
