Just got my window’s updated and cannot install my printer drivers. I’ve gone through “devices and printers” but it’s not an option and once I select update it will not update with my printer. I’ve gone to HP web site and still cannot get it work. Does any body else have any suggestion besides getting a new printer.

Hi,
It is a big problem with HP and 7. All you can do is download the vista drivers and hope they work if not you can run XP inside 7 have a look at that or its a new printer…..not HP…

There are still a lot of incompatibility issues concerning Windows 7. It’s very much like when Windows XP first came into existence, with hardware drives and software not running or installing properly. You can check with HP if they already have a device driver support for your printer model in Windows 7, otherwise, you have to wait. Or better yet, you can try sending HP an email or tru their customer service to find out any development.
