Many people print theirs themselves, this can go either way really. Truthfully if you are making your own prints you really should have very professional equipment to get the kind of quality that is expected of a professional service. There are a lot of VERY professional photographers and artists that do this to exceptional standards but there are also people who do it on their own to save money and my advice with this would be to always check a seller’s feedback comments, you can see exactly what kind of experience others have had with the seller and decide with that.
Still just as many professionals send their stuff out to printed as well, proper photo printing equipment takes up a lot of space and has to be maintained, for this reason, I prefer for myself to send my orders out to either shutterfly or kodak. I get the highest quality product available in a way that works best for me and my buyers.
