I have downloaded a book on the internet and i printed it, then i brought it to my friend that works to a print house. He make the cover and it looks like a normal book, but, haves a white blank cover. I want an idea how to “print” the title, i mean to use e method to wright the title and to make it looks like (as possible) to a printed title!

Hello Astrit,
Your friend at the print house may be able to emboss the title of your cover. If this is not possible, here are some other possibilities:
1. On drawing paper, hand letter your title. Then, using transfer paper, something like Saral paper, anchor your design in place with some adhesive tape and put the transfer paper underneath your design. Trace your design onto the cover. Use permanent markers or acrylic paint to color in the title.
2. If you do not feel confident enough to hand draw your title, design your title on the computer and size it to properly fit the cover of your book. Follow the same directions in step one to complete the process.
3. You may want to design the entire cover on the computer and then laminate or use pvc glue to attach the design to the cover*. This may be a bit challenging, depending on the size of your book and the type of material used for the cover.

* Water based glues can cause the paper fibers to swell and make “waves” in your paper. Experiment with scrap pieces of the paper you are going to use. Your friend may have some sample papers for you along with suggestions on attaching it to your book.
